The Word of God Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4816 South Western Avenue, Los Angeles, California, 90062, is prayerfully searching for a Pastor whom God has chosen to lead our congregation. We are a Bible based church with a strong foundation built and sustained over 38 years by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our congregation needs a dynamic visionary to lead us. Additionally, we are seeking a strong equipper and exhorter who must meet the Biblical qualifications of a pastor according to I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The candidate must have good preaching, leadership, teaching, people and administrative skills. The Pastor must be educationally prepared, apt to teach and preach to all age groups, willing to visit the sick and shut-in, able to reach out to the community, and have previous pastoral experience.
